Inspired by the legacy and vision of Dr Manuel Ballbé, a pioneer in the modern conception of comprehensive security, we remain committed to promoting a preventive, integrative and human-centred approach to human security, capable of addressing the legal and social challenges of today’s world.

Throughout the past year, the Chair has continued to foster interdisciplinary research, academic reflection and collaboration with public institutions, private organisations and civil society, with the aim of contributing to a safer, fairer and more sustainable society.
