New Call for I+P Stays by FECYT

The Spanish Foundation for Science and Technology (FECYT), in collaboration with ONAC, has launched an initiative involving all ministries.

What does it consist of?

The new I+P Stays offer scientists the opportunity to collaborate for six months in bodies of the General State Administration and related public entities, working on previously identified strategic challenges.

What is a challenge?

A scientific advisory challenge is a specific need for information, analysis, or evidence identified by a public administration to improve the design, implementation, or evaluation of its policies, programs, or services. These challenges require being addressed through expert knowledge and collaboration between the scientific and institutional spheres for a better understanding of the issue, the risks and benefits of different public policy alternatives, or for policy evaluation and analysis. In this way, these challenges represent strategic demands for scientific knowledge that can be met through scientific advisory stays, thus promoting a culture of evidence-based decision-making and strengthening the interface between science and public policy.

Who is it aimed at?

Researchers with profiles aligned with the proposed challenges.

Application period:

From December 15 to January 16.

If you know someone who might fit, share this opportunity and encourage them to apply.
