About the event

On December 13, Dr. Ricardo Rivero, Professor of Administrative Law and Rector of the University of Salamanca, gave a lecture on "Algorithms, Artificial Intelligence, and Preventive Policing: The Surveillance State of the 21st Century" in the Aula Magna of the Faculty of Law.
The event, organized by the Manuel Ballbé-Securitas Chair and the Doctoral Program in Human Security and Global Law, was a success with over 200 attendees. We would like to thank them for their presence, as well as those who participated in the round table and led the final debate: the vice-dean, Dr. R. Esteban, the director of the department, Dr. C. Jiménez, the coordinator of the doctoral program, Dr. C. Padrós, and the director of the Chair, Dr. R. Martínez.
