About the event
On Thursday, December 15, the first Doctoral Conference organized by the Doctoral Program in Human Security and Global Law in collaboration with the Manuel Ballbé-Securitas Chair was held. This event welcomed the doctoral students for the new academic year and offered the students and faculty an opportunity to meet, hear diverse doctoral experiences, ask questions, and receive suggestions and advice. The conference was opened by the department director, Dr. Claudia Jiménez, and led by the doctoral program coordinator, Dr. Carlos Padrós, and the director of the Chair, Dr. Roser Martínez.
Within the program of the conference, one of the activities was a roundtable discussion on doctoral experiences with alumni. This discussion consisted of an exchange of experiences among alumni from different fields of knowledge, with the participation of faculty and students, fostering debate and communication.
