About the event
On Tuesday, June 14, one of the most significant legal and social events of the moment took place at the UAB Law School, both due to the complexity and relevance of the topic, the extraordinary quality of the research presented, and the professional and institutional relevance of the participating actors. Organized by the Manuel Ballbé Chair of Human Security and Global Law (SECURITAS) and the law firm Baker McKenzie, the Conference on the Gas Crisis and the Decarbonization of the Electricity Sector was inaugurated by the Vice-Rector for Communications at the Law School, Dr. Cañabate, who acknowledged that actions such as these are what have helped the UAB be recognized as the best university in Spain and among the top 200 in the world (according to the QS World University Ranking 2023).
